Privacy Policy

When you apply to join Sunday Run, we collect the information you submit on the signup form: name, email address, mobile phone number, height, and optionally your college program and Instagram handle. We also store basic account data (hashed password, account status, RSVP history) and standard server logs needed to run the service.

• Operate the roster: review applications, manage your account, track RSVPs and waitlists.
• Communicate about runs: send weekly run invites, RSVP confirmations, cancellation notices, and other run logistics over SMS and email.
• Keep the service secure: prevent abuse, debug issues, and comply with the law.

We do not use your information for marketing unrelated to Sunday Run, and we do not run ads.

If you provide your phone number on the signup page, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from Sunday Run related to runs, including:

• Weekly run invites
• RSVP confirmations
• Cancellation notices and run logistics updates

Message frequency varies. Most weeks you'll receive roughly one to three messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any Sunday Run text. Reply HELP for help, or email hi@sundaypickup.com. Opting out of SMS will not remove you from the roster, but you will stop receiving run notifications by text.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your phone number or other personal information with any third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We use a small set of vendors to deliver the service. They only receive the information necessary to do their job and are contractually required to protect it:

• Twilio — delivers SMS messages.
• Resend — delivers email.
• Vercel — hosts the website.
• Neon — hosts our database.

None of these vendors are permitted to use your information for their own marketing.

We keep your account and RSVP history for as long as you remain on the roster. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll remove your personal information from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where we need to retain it to comply with the law.

• Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
• Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing hi@sundaypickup.com.
• Update your profile any time after you sign in.

Sunday Run is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, email us and we'll remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the effective date above and, when appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
